The original Midmark Door Gaskets require a wire to hold them in place - ours do not....Because they are not needed with our New & Improved Midmark M9D Door Gaskets!
When you order one of ours, you can throw the wire away (using the wire on one of our door gaskets will cause a leak). All you need is our Door Gasket

If You See Steam Leaking Around The Door
Then this Door & Dam Gasket Kit Is What You Need To Fix It
The Door & Dam gaskets should be replaced immediately if leakage is noticed. The leakage will usually result in an aborted cycle and a Pressure Related error code
When this happens, your instruments Will Not be sterilized
