Statim 2000 Water Pump Installation Guide
Statim 2000 Water Pump Replacement Instructions
These instructions are for the replacement of the Scican Water Pumps In All Statim & Sterimaster Units
Pump Replacement
To remove and replace the water pump safely & effectively, please follow these steps:
Remove original pump assembly
If original pump was a Fluid-O-Tech Pump, Use Adapter Kit #01-108363S)
Install new water pump assembly into the chasis with four #8-32x ½ machine screws and four #8 washers provided. Apply with Thread Locking Compound (e.g. Permalok LM113) on thread ends
Make electrical connections as shown in figure A below
Caution
Do not mix and match pumps with pump orfice tubings. The replacement pump has been sized with orfice tubing as a matched set.
Do not overtighten the compression nut at the boiler side of the orfice tubing.
Make sure the pump inlet tubing is not kinked or twisted after installation
Prime the pump before turning on the sterilizer
In-Line Filter Installation
Instructions For Installing The In-line Filter for Statim 2000 Model Sterilizers
Ensure the Water Reservoir is empty before attempting to install the New Filter
Cut the Cable Ties which fasten the the Shaped Silicone Tube between the Water Pump and the Drain Tee and remove the Tubing
Attach one end of the 4" length of Tubing included in the kit to the Drain Tee and the other end to the inlet side of the In-line Filter
Note: Make Sure The Arrow On The In-line Filter Is Facing
Away
From The Drain Tee
Attach one end of the 5.3" long "Shaped" Tubing included in the kit to the outlet side of the In-line Filter
Attach the remaining end of the "Shaped" Tubing to the Water Pump Inlet Fitting. The installed Tubing and the In-line Filter should be oriented as shown below
Secure each connection using the supplied Cable Ties
Included in the Kit for the In-line Filter are
One 4" length of Tubing
One 5.3" length of "Shaped" Tubing
One In-Line Filter
Three Cable Ties
