BiYearly PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE KIT (Every 2 Years)

Scican (Statim) Reommends the Safety Valve & Check Valve Be Replaced Every 2 Years to reduce the likelihood of very expensive repairs when either of the parts fail...and here is why:

1. The Check Valve is a One-Way Valve. It is designed so that the compressor pushes air into the boiler and then forces the steam through the Steam Injection Port into the Cassette. When the check valve fails, it allows the steam to enter into the compressor causing irreparable damage to the compressor almost immediately. This is the major cause for compressor failure
2. The Pressure Relief Valve is a safety device. It is designed to react (to open and allow air/steam out if it senses the pressure exceeds its rating (70 psi). The internal components can weaken over time. When it thinks the pressure is too high, it will open and allow the steam to escape. This can cause major damage due to the proximity of the circuit board and other electronics
