Discover How Easy It Is To Replace The Tuttnauer Solid State Relay
You can replace the Tuttnaer Autoclave Solid State Relay yourself by following these simple Step-By-Step directions
To Remove The Tuttnauer Solid State Relay:
Unplug the Autoclave rrom the outlet
Tag each wire with the terminal number that it is attached to, then remove the wires
One of the Solid State Relay mountings is a hole and the other is a slot. Remove the Screw that is in the hole & then Loosen the Screw that is in the slot e
Remove the Solid State Relay by lifting it off
To Install The New Tuttnauer Solid State Relay
Apply the Thermal Conductive Grease (Heat Sink Compound) provided with the Tuttnauer Solid State Relay to the metal plate on the back of the Solid State Relay
Note:
The grease does not have to be very thick, a thin layer is fine. Be sure to cover all of the plate. Not applying the grease can cause the Solid State Relay to overheat and burn out
Reinstall the Solid State Relay the way it was removed
Tighten down the screws so that good contact is made between the metal plate of the Solid State Relay and the wall of the Electronic Box. Do not over tighten, that will cause the grease to be squeezed out
Reattach the wires exactly the way they were removed
Your All Done!
