Is Your PC Board Defective?  You Can Find Out Here With These Simple Tests

Midmark Put in test points on their autoclave PC Boards .  Following these directions, you can determine if the pc board is defective

While there are slight variations in the appearance of boards, the TP are what are important as this juncture

The test points on the board are marked with the letters “TP” followed by a number

The test Points we will be using in this test are TP1 thru TP4

NOTE:  TP2 is the Ground and is used in all three tests.  Simply leave your probe there and us the other probe for the other test points

MAIN PC BOARD TEST 1

  1. Set Meter to 20VDC
  2. Place Black Probe From Meter On TP2 as shown below
  3. Place Red Probe From Meter on TPa As Shown Below

Reading Should Be +12 VDC
