(For Units With Serial #s RN, RP, RR, V)

 

 

M9/M11 Control Panel

 


If an electronic malfunction is detected during a cycle, a numeric error code will appear on the display panel.

Each number in the error code provides information about the problem that occurred.

 

 

  • The First Number Tells You Where The Problem Is Located (The Component)
    (example: The number 3 is the Door Switch)



  •  
  • The Second Number Indicates What Problem Or Symptom Was Detected (Problem)
    (example: The number 8 = Open)



  •  
  • The Third Number Tells You When The Problem Was Detected (Mode)
    Example: The Number 2 = Fill Mode)

  • The table below cross-references the numeric error code with the Component, Problem, and Mode.

    C200 Series (all) Water level sensor did not detect a full chamber within 5 minutes of starting the cycle
    1. Low water in reservoir? (Add water if necessary)
    2. Chamber Filter
      Remove filter & clean using Speed Clean and a brush or replace
    3. Water Level Sensor (Replace If Necessary)
    4. Fill Valve
      Check all wire connections. Test the valve & replace if necessary.
    5. Air Valve (Replace If Necessary
    6. Main PC Board
    C326 PC board detected open door switch contacts during a cycle. -or- Door switch contacts remained closed after door motor shut off.
    • If Door Is Open...
      Check Door Switch
      Check Main PC Board



    •  
    • If Door Is Closed...
      Check Door Latch Mechanism (Adjust latch if necessary)
      Check Door Motor / Switch
    C382 PC board detected open door switch contacts during a cycle. -or- Door switch contacts remained closed after door motor shut off.
    • If Door Is Open...
      Improper operation. (Do not open door during cycle)

    C500 Series (all) Chamber temperature reading was not within the acceptable range for the current cycle.
    1. Is sterilizer level? Adjust leveling feet as necessary.
    2. Check for pressure leaks. (Refer to Section B Of Factory Service Manual for checkpoints.)
    3. Chamber Filter. Remove filter & clean using SpeedClean and a brush or replace filter
    4. Temperature Sensor
    5. Water Level Sensor
    6. Heating Element
    7. Main PC Board
    C560 Indicates a power interruption occurred after an error code was displayed. When these errors appear, always check the five previous error codes.
