How To Test The PC Board
Note: The correct test for the OCM or OCR Autoclave PC Board depends on the symptom as shown in the table below
Symptom | How To Test The PC Board | Test Results |
NO CONTROL OF PRESSURE/TEMPERATURE | Measure the Voltage From The Common Terminal On Power Switch 2 to the Common Terminal on Power Switch Number 2, T o The Common Terminal On The Function Switch | If The Reading on the Meter Shows 120 VOLTS, BOARD IS OPEN (Has a Short) & Will Need To Be Replaced. If the Meter Reading is 0 VAC, BOARD IS GOOD. |
WILL NOT BUILD UP TO STERILIZING PRESSURE/ TEMPERATURE | MEASURE VOLTAGE FROM TOP TERMINAL OF NO. 1 POWER SWITCH TO COMMON TERMINAL OF FUNCTION SWITCH | IF the Meter Shows 120 VAC, BOARD IS PROBABLY OPEN (Has a Short) & IF 0 VAC IS THE RESULT, BOARD IS PROBABLY GOOD). THIS IS PROVIDED THERE IS CONTINUITY THROUGH FUNCTION SWITCH, OT SWITCH AND HEATING ELEMENT |
