How To Test The Validator Triac

Testing The Validator Triac is not difficult. Just follow the simple step-by-step directions below

1. Turn the autoclave off & Disconnect the power
2. Using an ohmmeter, attach the leads to GATE and MTI
3. The ohmmeter should read approximately 65 Ω ohms
4. Using the ohmmeter, attach the leads to GATE and MT2
5. The ohmmeter should read a very high resistance in the megaohm region
6. Using the ohmmeter attach the leads to MT1 and MT2
7. The ohmmeter should read a very high resistance in the megaohm region. See diagram below
