When The Statim 2000 display reads error code
Cycle Fault 6
, It means the software has detected a Boiler Temperature 5 degrees C greater than the temperature in the Chamber within 7.2 seconds after a purge during the sterilizing phase of a cycle
Recalibration Of The Boiler Is Required
How To Re-Calibrate The Statim Autoclave
Turn OFF main power and remove its cover by removing the cover screws from both sides & the rear of the machine
On The PC Board, jumper together Pins W1 on the main PCB board
Turn ON the power
The Display should display
CALIBRATIO
N
with 2 digits in the upper left & 2 digits in the upper right
a) The lower left of the display will show the temperature difference between the boiler and the chamber
b) The lower right shows the Chamber Temperature
Insert the Cassette
HOLD down the
UNWRAPPED
Button & press
START
The 2 digits in the upper left change to
00>
and
CALIBRATING*
is displayed
Let the unit run (takes about 5 minutes), until a long beep sounds. The upper left will change to 2 digits again.
Press
STOP
& allow the Statim to vent
Wait for
PRESS STOP TO RESET
to show up on the display, & then press
STOP
The Display should now read
SELECT A CYCLE
Turn OFF the power, and remove the JUMPER on PINs W1
Replace the cover
Calibration Is Complete & Unit Can Be Placed Back In Service
