Troubleshooting The Tuttnauer "'POWER ON" Light
How To Find The Problem When The Power Light Does Not Come On
Cause
Solution
Faulty Wall Outlet or Plug
Verify power at outlet using a Volt Meter. Make sure power cord is plugged in at the wall and into the back of the machine.
Damaged Power Cord
Check Power Cord For Continuity While Flexing The Cord. Replace If Defective.

Power Switch in Off Position, or Defective
Make Sure Power is Turned on. For Instructions on Testing The Power Switch

To Find The Power Switch For Your Autoclave
Circuit Breaker (Both Facility Breaker and Autoclave Breaker Located On Back Of Autoclave)
Reset breaker. Check for short circuit (see
Electrical Troubleshooting Guide
). If no short is found, replace Circuit Breaker
Blown Fuses
Some Tuttnauer Units Will Also Have Fuses Located on the Back of The Autoclave. If Your Unit Has Them, Test Them For Continutity & Replace If Defective
Power Light is Burned Out
Replace Power Light
Open Circuit
Check for loose or disconnected wires. Replace Wire Harness, if necessary
