How To Find The Problem When The Power Light Does Not Come On

Solution |
Faulty Wall Outlet or Plug |
Verify power at outlet using a Volt Meter. Make sure power cord is plugged in at the wall and into the back of the machine. |
Damaged Power Cord |
Check Power Cord For Continuity While Flexing The Cord. Replace If Defective. Click Here For Power Cord Replacements |
Power Switch in Off Position, or Defective |
Make Sure Power is Turned on. For Instructions on Testing The Power Switch Click Here . Replace if Defective. Click Here To Find The Power Switch For Your Autoclave |
Circuit Breaker (Both Facility Breaker and Autoclave Breaker Located On Back Of Autoclave) |
Reset breaker. Check for short circuit (see Electrical Troubleshooting Guide). If no short is found, replace Circuit Breaker |
Blown Fuses |
Some Tuttnauer Units Will Also Have Fuses Located on the Back of The Autoclave. If Your Unit Has Them, Test Them For Continutity & Replace If Defective |
Power Light is Burned Out |
Replace Power Light |
Open Circuit |
Check for loose or disconnected wires. Replace Wire Harness, if necessary |
