How To Replace The Stryker 840 Cast Cutter Collar

Replacing the Collar is easy. The only tool you will need is a standard 1/2 inch wrench to complete the repair

1. Using the 1/2 inch wrench, remove the Shaft Nut Part #STN017-6127
2. Then remove the Shakeproof Washer Part #STW025-6132
3. The remove the old Blade Collar

Now it is time to put it all back together

If you removed the saw blade, you will need to install it before proceeding. Place the blade on the shaft as far as it will go with slots in blade aligned with pin(s) in shaft

1. Place the New Collar over the Shaft Part #STS023-6130, with slotted side facing blade and slots aligned with pin on shaft....locking the blade in place
2. Now slide the Shakeproof Washer Part #STW025-6132 until it is resting against the collar
3. Thread on nut and tighten securely. Be certain blade and collar remain aligned on pin while tightening
