PEL-CLEAN™

PEL-CLEAN™ is a multi-purpose, slightly alkaline, mild solution developed to remove grease and grime from sterilizers.

Used as directed PEL-CLEAN™ will also retard the accumulation of scale deposits.

Always follow equipment manufacturer's instructions and recommended maintenance schedules.

How To Use Pel-Clean™

Never sterilize instruments during a cleaning cycle

1. Drain the water reservoir and remove any debris that might have accumulated
2. Mix (64) ounces of distilled or demineralized water with (6) ounces of PEL-CLEAN™ and pour this solution into the water reservoir
3. Run one normal cycle for unwrapped instruments, omitting the drying cycle.
4. When the cleaning cycle is complete, drain and rinse the reservoir until the water runs clear. Refill with clean distilled or demineralized water
5. Run one normal cycle for unwrapped instruments, omitting the drying cycle
6. Drain and rinse the reservoir until the water runs clear. Additional cleaning cycles may be required. Let the chamber cool to room temperature
7. Remove all trays and racks. Using a clean lint-free cloth, wipe down the inside of the chamber (This would be a good time to replace the chamber filter
8. Using a clean lint-free cloth, wipe down and clean all trays and racks. Carefully reinstall the trays and racks.
9. Remove the door gasket. Clean the door gasket and gasket groove. Examine the door gasket, and replace if necessary. Reinstall the door gasket
10. Refill the water reservoir with clean distilled or demineralized water
11. The sterilizer is ready for use
